If you've never shot lightning images before, it's time to give it a try!

First and foremost, BE SAFE! Make sure you're not directly under the storm.

My example in the video is for a daytime storm. At night, I would use a slightly different setup:

ISO 100, f16, bulb mode.

Make sure you don't have any extra light in your image, or as little as possible (up your f-stop if needed). Press and hold the shutter release, and your shutter will open. You can keep it open for 30-45 seconds, or until a good strike hits in your camera's field of view. Release the shutter, and there you go.

Adjust to your liking!
