Yes, I'm crazy!

One awesome thing about Tortola is the amazing cliffs and rocks on the shoreline. Since it's all volcanic, it is super easy to climb. Wet or dry, the rocks are as grippy as you could ever hope for.

Out on the point near our cabana, was this amazing set of cliffs and coves, complete with caves and rocks in the water. At one point, the waves were crashing 20 feet over these rocks!

At this point, however, the waves were relatively calm. The water between the cliff and the rocks is only 2-3 feet deep - until the waves come in. It's only about 6 to 8 foot from the cliff to the rocks, and I really wanted to get a shot of a wave crashing over this rock - from the rock (yes, UNDER the wave!). So, I decided to give it a shot and cross over.

Let's just say that King Trident decided to have some fun with me. :-)

Enjoy!

Hey Shan, When I click on this one it just says "loading" forever. Is it supposed to be a clip or just a picture?

It's a video - maybe facebook was having some issues (that's where it's hosted). Seems to be working fine now though!
