Ok, I have to admit- Canon is absolute MASTERS of buzz marketing.

Their 5D has been due for a replacement for quite a while now, and many of the forum junkies are absolutely screaming for a new camera to be released to compete with the latest impressive offerings from Nikon.

Well, it's coming.

What does it mean?

Only the marketing guys at Canon know. But it's mysterious enough to have half of dpreview.com forum readers going absolutely nuts. People have even decompiled the flash teaser to see if a full image is in there - nope, just the outline (nice touch Canon!)

Anyway, I just wanted to share the little spark. This year is going to be amazing for Canon pixel junkies and tech-heads like me.

I'm already drooling over the new 50D. I can't wait to see what's next.
